Public Commenting Open : Fortified Wheat Flour, Fortified Edible Oils and Fats, Iodized Salt.
TGSB tasked the Technical Committee on Food and Agricultural Products (GAMS/TC 01) for the development of standards for three fortified food products. The development of these standards is supported by Food and Agriculture Organization of The United Nations (FAO) – Gambia through its European funded Project (Improving food security and Nutrition in The Gambia through Food Fortification)
The Bureau wishes to inform the general public on the opening of Public Commenting period for the following list of Draft National Standards and solicits review and comments, if any. The standards can be accessed below:
The Bureau invites interested institutions, organizations and individuals to submit written comments on the above Draft National Standards. Comments Form can be accessed here: Download Comment Form.
The forms once completed can be submitted via email at: email@example.com or at the The Gambia Standards Bureau Office.
The commenting period is 60 days from the date of publication (03 October – 03 December 2018) and all comments should be received by the end of this period.
