The Gambia Standards Bureau last week organized a capacity building seminar for members of GCCI’s business community. The objective of the training is to highlight the numerous roles standardization, conformity assessment and metrology play in MSMEs development.
The experts from The Gambia Standards Bureau presented on the overview of the Bureau, the role of standardization in MSMEs development, conformity assessment and its benefits to MSMEs development, the role of metrology in MSMEs development and presentation on TBT & WTO eping system and Halal services ( food, cosmetic, tourism) etc.
After the presentations, the floor was opened for question and answer session.
This event was graced by the Director General of The Gambia Standards Bureau Mr. Papa Secka and the CEO of GCCI Mrs. Sarata Conateh.
