Nationwide Training At URR, CRR, LRR and NBR For Food Processors of Honey, Baobab and Moringa On Good Hygienic Practices.

The Gambia Standards Bureau in collaboration with the Ecosystem-Based Adaptation (EBA) project signed a memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop relevant National Standards and product certification schemes for local teas, and forestry value added products. This program is supported and implemented under deliverable 8 of the Ecosystem-Based Adaptation (EBA) project ( Certification System institutionalized at The Gambia Standards Bureau (TGSB) for forestry value added products)
As part of the Bureau’s Conformity Assessment Services, it is currently conducting a nationwide training at URR, CRR, LRR and NBR for food processors of honey, baobab and moringa on Good Hygienic Practices.

The training is done for processors to:

1. Learn/refresh their knowledge about Good Hygienic Practices.
2. Know the benefits of food safety.
3. Understand Basic requirements of food standards.
The training is from 8th to 11th May 2023.
