Officials of The Gambia Standards Bureau on 15/07/2025 conducted an awareness session on ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management Standards for Yonna Islamic Micro Finance Company.
The objective of this visit is to assist Yonna strengthen their data management practices by implementing the standards as robust information security measures are important in today’s digital landscape
The two institutions are hoping to collaborate in the near future.
The Managing Director of Yonna Mr. Yankuba Mambury indicated that the Bureau’s visit marks a significant step in his institution’s ongoing efforts to align with global standards and safeguard customer trust in their services.
